Project 365-February Layout #3
Friday, February 26, 2010
My super bright layout for today is from Valentines Day. We took the kids & my parents & sisters to Grimaldi's for pizza and played at the playground at San Tan. My dad bought us all ice cream and the kids got to look at the pet store for the kind of puppy they want. Olivia really wants to get a dog that's "not too big, and not too small Momma" and name her Frannie.

Here's the rest of the pictures from Schnepf Farm. The dog on the bottom that Braden is petting lived there and came right up to us. Braden was thisclose from taking that dog home.

I've been soooooooo busy this weekend filling our Handmade Parade orders from last week, and now that I'm just about caught up I have some time to put up my 365 layout from last week.

We took La La out to take some pictures with Eryn's pettiskirts and we got some awesome pictures of her so I had to make a whole layout devoted to my Olivia.

Project 365-January Layout #5
Monday, February 8, 2010
I skipped over my 365 layout for last week, so I'm posting it in a hurry today-there's so much stuff I have to blog about this week! I took some Maternity photos with my sister Eryn the last week of January (remember the outtakes?) and I posted some on Facebook, but here are some of my favorites I put in a layout for the Project 365.

Do you love the embellishments on the page? I love love love these brushes from House of 3, so versatile!

Speaking of House of 3, there are a TON of amazing projects going on this week on their Inspiration House blog, Rhonna Farrer's blog, Heidi Swapp's blog, and Janet Hopkins blog using all the new House of 3 Valentines stuff so why not waste the rest of your day (and your grocery money) digging into some of these projects? I'll share one of my Valentines projects tomorrow from the Rolled Fabric Flower tutorial Rhonna is showing today!
PS- check the Handmade Parade Blog to see if you are the lucky winner of the Felt Rosette Headband!

Friday 365 Day
Friday, January 29, 2010
I must confess I was a total slacker last week about taking pictures. So I hurried up last weekend and snapped a bunch of photos of the kids in the bath tub, and I think I liked this page the best. Braden bathes the kids every night since my belly is way too big to permit me, and I love that we will forever be reminded of this ritual long when our kids are all grown up and embarrassed that they all bathed together.

It's Friday! Project 365 time! Here's this week's layout template:

And here's the finished product. I kept it pretty simple this week, since my layout is all about us and the kids playing in the backyard. Not a lot of explanations or embellishments needed for this one.

As you can see, I've switched around the template a little to accommodate our pictures, which is the beauty of these templates! They just give you a starting point for your books, and you can play with them and alter them to fit your needs!
I've been slacking this week due to the rain, and haven't taken ANY pictures, so I need to come up with some quick for next weeks layout!

Happy New Year!
Friday, January 1, 2010
And welcome to my new blog! It feels so good to start fresh for the new year and new decade! It was a crazy busy end to 2009 with Christmas & my sister Ashly's wedding on New Years Eve, but we had a blast and everything was wonderful. I'll be posting some pictures later this week of the wedding for those of you that couldn't make it.

There are a lot of exciting things coming up for this next year, but first things first. I have decided to stop procrastinating and FINALLY start a dang scrapbook for my kids before its too late and I get too overwhelmed to try one. I know I said I was going to do one for Christmas, but I wimped out and never got on the ball. So, I have made it one of my New Years Resolutions to make one for this year. It will be really exciting because our family will be completed once Evelyn & Georgia arrive so it's kind of like starting with a clean slate. I've looked and looked for ideas on how I want my scrapbook to be, and I've decided on a 365 scrapbook. If any of you don't know what that is, basically it's organized chronologically throughout the whole year. There are all kinds of digital kits from Two Peas and a new site I found, Jen Wilsons Designs ,that have options to make your scrapbook look cohesive and professional without even trying.

I really like Jen Wilsons Project 52 designs, especially since they are those wonderful $1 files, but I wanted to tweak them a little bit to fit my style more, so I came up with some of my own templates based off Project 52.

I used Hof3'a Inked Edges Digital Kit & Ginga Font from dafont.com
These pre-made layouts are so awesome because you just plug in your pictures and you can be done! Hooray! I will add some journaling and some fun accents to it to spice it up but it's pretty easy peasy lemon squeezy. I think that I can commit to doing one of these a week to complete an entire album for the year. I'll make sure I post the layouts before and after they are finished so you can get some ideas for your own 365 album for 2010. You can definitely do one at home using your own style, but if you don't have the time or the software to do your own scrapbook, send me an email to rosemaryw@me.com and I can do one for you!
