Happy Haunting Day Nine: Our Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Party

Monday, October 24, 2011

It's done! My invitation for our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving Party is finished {yes, one week before the event. What?} and the FB page is created and the neighborhood invitations have been passed out.  I pinned this invitation on my All Hallows Eve Board a while ago and I made my invitation with the same background design

"Pointer" Element used from House of 3, Fonts: Campbell, Modern No. 20, Odalisque, Bellerose,
& Berthold Walbaum Book Italic

I printed them out small and tied the invitation "tags" to mini little pumpkins I sprayed white and glittered. I also couldn't resist adding a little Spooky Junque flair to them for our neighborhood invitations.

Better Late than Never

Tuesday, April 19, 2011

Well, in true Rosemary Fashion I have procrastinated to the bitter end, but we are having an Easter Egg Dyeing Party at my house on Thursday (yes that's in 2 days). It's a great incentive to decorating Easter Eggs, which always seem to be forgotten and then at the last minute we struggle to actually want to get them done.

Like it says in the invite, you bring your own hardboiled eggs, and we'll have dye and other embellishments for you to decorate the eggs with. Also, we'll have treats for everyone so be prepared to get your sugar on.

We had a pumpkin carving party like this for Halloween and it was so fun to see all our neighbors come over for the fun activity so hopefully we'll have as good of a turnout for this party!

PS- The invite was (quickly) designed using House of 3's Soiree Cards digi kit and Rhonna's Spring Mix Element Set. Hurry and get anything you want from House of 3, it's all 50% off and is closing next month :(

Tutorial Tuesday- Ruffled Party Streamers

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

When I went searching for ideas for the twins party I came across How Does She who threw her own twin girls a party based on the Eat Drink Chic Ice Cream Parlour

My favorite part about her party was the ruffled pink & white striped background she used- it looks sooooo cute.

Lucky for me she has a tutorial for it! Hip Hip Hooray! Now you must excuse me, because I have to sew a ton of crepe paper.....

Carnival Party Part 1: Awesome Invitations

Monday, February 28, 2011

I took much needed blog break for this last couple of weeks and it feels great to be back! I have a fun Carnival Birthday Party or our dear friend Kathie to share with you guys plus a lot of behind-the-scenes projects going on that will be revealed soon. So let's get on with Kathie's Carnival Birthday Party!

I made these invitations using House of 3 Birthday Decorations Digital Kit & the French Ooh La La Vintage tickets Kit

I ordered them from my favorite place, Persnickity Prints in Metallic 5 x 5 prints (only $0.79 each!), then glued them to 6 x 6 red cardstock. I stapled some blue polka dot ribbon to them, then tied some red barberpole candies to the invites to make them extra special. I put them in some 6 x 6 cupcake boxes I ordered last fall, and added some folded ticket strips that say "You are invited"

I tied the whole package with Aqua Divine Twine, which I am OBSESSED with.

Then I tied a big red balloon to them and dropped them off! This was so fun and perfect for parties where you're only inviting a few people.

Come back tomorrow for Part 2 of Kathie's Carnival Birthday, where we show you all the pictures from the actual party!

Inspiration Monday: One Charming Party

Monday, February 7, 2011

Valentines Day is one week away, so I wanted to share this Valentines Class Party with you guys from One Charming Party.

Olivia has a class party tomorrow, so I'll be sending some stacked Love Lollies and some of the Printable Valentines from One Charming Party- just download them and print on some cardstock and they're ready to go!

If you are a room mom for your child's class, there are awesome activity ideas for a class party to keep the kids entertained.

One Charming Party is full of great party themes and ideas- they even have party kits you can buy to download and use to throw a "designer" party. My favorite is their Baking Theme Birthday Party

All photos from One Charming Party & Nicole Gerulat (Like Care-a-lot) {That is so hilarious, she will forever have that tag line in my mind}. You should probably bookmark both and go their for daily inspiration!

PS- when I went to Nicole's blog I saw this:
