Baby Update: Week 23

Monday, June 4, 2012

It's getting hotter people. I've luckily only had one bad bought of acid reflux that resulted in a pretty sleepless night; other than that it's been pretty smooth sailing. Although I did get a call from my doctor's office today saying that my blood transfusion with the twins resulted in antibodies being formed and Braden's blood has those antibodies, so I may need to be transferred to a specialist. Not stressing or anything, everything will work itself out; it's just a circumstance I wished we could have avoided but C'est La Vie. I'll keep everyone updated on the progress.

Lemonade Teacher Gift

Thursday, May 17, 2012

Penelope & Landen's Last Day of Preschool was Tuesday. We were so sad to see their Preschool teacher go, but we are so stinkin excited for the summer! I've been hoarding a ton of ideas to make this the best summer break ever for both me & my kids, I can't wait to share them all with you guys. But first, I'll share my impromptu teacher gift that I whipped up for Miss Crystal

I snagged the pitcher at Wal-mart, then swung by the produce section and grabbed some lemons & some fresh mint. I threw in a can of my mom's Lemonade Mix she juiced and mixed with a simple syrup from all her glorious lemons from her tree. I topped the jar with some directions, and added a wooden spoon I also grabbed from Wal-mart, and a tea towel embellished with my favorite yellow damask fabric I quickly sewed onto the towel. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy gifting!

Here's what the other girls of Foto Friday came up with:

Kindergarten Career Day

Monday, April 30, 2012

It's Spirit Week at ASU Prep this week, and today's kick off is Career Day. In true Rosemary fashion, I completely forgot about Spirit Week until our Kathie called to remind me last night. Crap. I pulled together what we had to make La La her Cupcake Baker Outfit. If you see a little girl with Liberty Rolls, Red Lipstick, and a red & pink apron at a cupcake stand outside our house- stop and grab a Strawberry Cupcake from Olivia!

What we did this Easter Sunday

Monday, April 9, 2012

It seems like all the Holidays in the beginning of the year get away from me. We always do a ton of fun things and a ton of decorating for all the fall & winter holidays, but not so much for the Spring ones. We did however, have our Easter Egg Dyeing Party with our neighborhood, which was super fun, but we didn't really plan anything for Easter Sunday. So luckily last minute, my mom came to the rescue and had the kids come over to her house to plant jelly beans in her yard for Lollipops to grow in the morning!

It was such a cute tradition to start (thank you Pinterest!) and then we had a laid back dinner in her backyard in the afternoon with an Easter Egg Hunt with their best friends Izzy & Diego

Our Baby #6 mail announcements

Monday, February 13, 2012

So, for those of you that missed the announcement- we're having another baby! And this one makes #6 for us, so while it's not my first rodeo, I am excited to bust out all the cute ideas that I have been hoarding that involve babies! Plus, I'll take any excuse to celebrate so, Hurrah! We found out the very last day of February {which is my excuse for my long absence here} and had to come up with a creative way to tell our families before we made the public/FB/blog announcement. Once everyone called and said they received their mail, it was a go to tell the world! This is what we sent out.....

This is what happens when you just can't fall out of love {even after 7 years and 5 kids}

Foto Friday: Week 7 & A Happy Haunting Mash Up

Friday, October 21, 2011

This week's Foto Friday Theme turned out to be a PERFECT one for my Happy Haunting Series!

We took our kids & our bestest friends' kids to the Pumpkin Patch at Mother Nature's Farm here in Mesa, and they had the best time picking out & decorating pumpkins, riding on the mini tractor, feeding the animals, and of course taking pictures. They are all the biggest hams.

The wonderful & versatile frames used are Rhonna Designs Simple Photo Edges 2, of course

Now mosey on over to Hilary's blog to see what the other girls of Foto Friday have in store for you today!

Some photos of the family

Wednesday, September 14, 2011

It's nearly impossible to get everyone in my family photographed at the same time. This weekend we were able to snag some cute shots of Olivia, Braden, Landen, and even I.

Maybe this weekend we can get some of Penelope, Evelyn, & Georgia ;)

Team Tuesday: Spooky Junque Delight

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

Can I tell you that when Rhonna hinted on her blog that the Halloween kits would be hitting the stores this past weekend, I was on my iphone like white on rice checking to see if they had gone live yet. THE VERY MINUTE she emailed us for the "gone live" go ahead,  I downloaded them and got to work.

First off, do you all know that I am obsessed with holiday decorating? Like, it absolutely oozes from every nook & cranny in my home. And each year, Halloween stuff starts popping up a little sooner than the last year. So yes, on the 10th of September, it started to turn into The Watson's Halloween Home.

I first whipped up theses {To. Die. For.} candy cones. I mean, these are the stinkin cutest things, and they are so incredibly easy. Absolutely anyone can create these, they come all packaged up nice & neat for you  in one kit, all you need to do is print & cut. I added a ruffled crepe streamer trim at the top, but everything else was included on one page of the candy cones. And there's two more styles!

Next,  I wanted to take {Scary Photos} of all my kids and put them around my house for Halloween, so yesterday was Olivia's day. Here are some {witchy}  photos accented by some more of the Spooky Junque Kits:

And these are the kits I used:

Seriously, you need some Spooky Junque in your life. And it's so so fab that these designs are out so early so you can slowly but surely start decorating for All Hallows Eve instead of freaking out the week of Halloween and getting only half the stuff up that you wanted and only having it up for 5 days, and cursing yourself for procrastinating. Not that I would know anything about that or anything.

Now run on over to Rhonna's Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for Team Tuesday!

Work & Play

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

Over Labor Day weekend, my sister Eryn & I photographed a wedding in beautiful Pinetop. The weather was perfectly overcast but not rainy, the location (which was right on Rainbow Lake) was gorgeous, and the wedding itself was simply beautiful. While we were waiting on the groom to show up for his photos, we found a pretty piece of land to take some shots of each other. Eryn looked particularly lovely Sunday.

I apparently forgot the Cardinal Rule of Eyeliner that day, but still the background is far too pretty not to post.

I used House of 3's Collage Storyboard Kit or the Photo Storyboards. Stay tuned for the wedding photos- they are absolutely divine!

The Next Big Step

Thursday, August 18, 2011

The next two little chickens went to Preschool for the first time Tuesday. This time there were no tears; just some super excited little kids and an awestruck momma that couldn't believe how quiet the house was with just the twins. Landen & Penelope had the best time ever- so much that they threw some mighty tantrums when it time to come home. At least it's only 4 doors down.
