Wedding Fevah- Pt. 1
Tuesday, May 18, 2010
Our dear dear friend Kathie is eloping next month (how romantical), and I have wedding fever something fierce. Since her, her fiance, and their 2 kids are going to be the only ones at the actual ceremony, we are having a celebration dinner for them once they get back. AND GUESS WHAT?!? I get to make their wedding cake :)
I am so excited I can't even stand it. And of course, in true Rosemary fashion, I have become completely obsessed with wedding cakes and have though of nothing else since. Seriously, I lie awake at night trying to come up with the perfect combination of deliciousness to bestow upon them.
Genoise sponge cake moistened with Chambord and covered with white chocolate fondant?

Or Luscious Caramel Cake?

Or a Peach Cake with fresh peach jam filling and custard buttercream? (This might be an amazing idea, since it's peach season at Schnepf)
image via Martha Stewart
Or do I just stick with my stand-by favorite, the Chocolate cake with Marscapone mousse and Ganache Buttercream?

Sigh. So many choices. I guess I'll have to make them all and see which I like best ;)

Intro to Digital Scrapbooking Class Rescheduled
Monday, May 17, 2010
Have you guys missed me? I had to finish a wholesale order and a wedding order up last week so I did nothing but hand sew all week long. But now it's done, and I'm all caught up and I'm ready to start fresh.
Unfortunately, I have to reschedule the Intro to Digital Scrapbooking Class because a very good family friend was killed in a car accident over the weekend and his funeral will be on Friday afternoon. It's very hard to see a family you grew up with go through such a terrible tragedy.
We will be having the class next Friday, May 28th, 7:00-9:00 pm. Those of you that have already signed up, please let me know if the new date and time works for you.
Tomorrow I will be back to my daily blogging; today I don't really have the heart.

Intro to Digital Scrapbooking Class
Tuesday, May 11, 2010
I had a couple people that had to cancel coming to the last class, and a lot of people say they wanted to come, but couldn't make it to the last one so I'm holding another Intro to the World of Digital Scrapbooking Class. It will be next Friday, May 21st and cover the basics of Digital Scrapbooking. See the details of the last class here
Class cost is $10 and it's a pretty sweet deal since you get to eat some tasty morsels AND you get some super cute take home projects! Email me at rosemaryw@me.com or leave me a comment to reserve your spot. Space is limited, since it's just at my little house but it's gonna be fun so come on over!
P.S.- If you came to the last class and want to review I'd LOVE to have you! You can waive the class fee since you already have the materials!
A Bake Off & Some Recipes
Monday, May 10, 2010
Some friends of mine are holding Mesa's first annual Summertime Bake Off on June 12th and I am stressing out. I have soooooo many good recipes I can't choose just one. I will pretty much be a baking maniac until then trying to find the PERFECT recipe to bust out at the bake off. Anyone who lives in or around Phoenix should enter because what could be more fun than spending a day baking and testing out other people's recipes? Yum. Get the details here.
And if you need to find some amazing recipes to test out go to to Ming Makes Cupcakes and make one of her amazing cupcakes, cookies, or savories.
I want to make these homemade thin mints NOW.

The Twins Birth Announcements
Thursday, May 6, 2010
Isn't is funny that when I say I will be neglecting my blog, I have a TON of things to blog about so I blog every day anyway?
I know they will be 2 months old next week (time really flew by) but I am JUST getting around to doing my babies birth announcements. We did their photo session today and I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out. They're getting designed and ordered over the weekend, and I'll be hopefully popping them in the mail by next Friday so if you want one sent to you email me your address! I'll be putting the final product on the blog too, so check back for those! These are just a few of my favorite shots.
